The new aluminium cylinder unit kit is an evolution of the same cast iron unit. To further increase the already high performance, a special aluminium alloy was used for the cylinder, which ensures high rigidity even at high temperatures that develop during intensive use. To achieve a high degree of reliability, the liner is coated with a nickel and silicon carbide co-coating that guarantees very high wear protection properties. The piston, with a new specific design, is made of materials that guarantee to maintain both its mechanical and dimensional characteristics even at high temperatures. The special geometry has made it possible to obtain a particularly light piston, which reduces inertia forces and allows the engine to reach very high engine speeds.

The chrome coating of the piston ring made of spheroidal cast iron with a high surface finish is a factor that rounds off this cylinder unit, in which performance and reliability flow together.
